Purpose of this Document
This document establishes the contractual framework in which Procaryote processes personal data for its healthcare professional clients. This document is an integral part of the contract between you, the professional client, and Procaryote.
Procaryote
In this document, “Procaryote” refers to SRL Procaryote, located at Boulevard du Souverain 78, 1170 Brussels, company number BE0834008968.
The Client, You
In this document, the client, referred to as “you,” is a healthcare professional or a legal entity bringing together one or more healthcare professionals using Procaryote’s services and applications.
Data Processing Activities Covered by This Specific Contract for Healthcare Professionals
Procaryote’s data processing activities are detailed in its Privacy Policy.
This contract only covers the following processing activities:
- Your healthcare provider profile data
- Your patient data provided by you or addressed to you by them
Your Role as Data Controller
Legally, you are the data controller of the data covered by this contract and assume responsibility for these data because:
- These processing activities meet your professional needs.
- You decide to implement these processing activities using our applications’ functionalities.
- You supervise the information collected and recorded.
Role of Procaryote as Data Processor
Procaryote processes personal data on your behalf according to the rules and purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Procaryote cannot process these data for other purposes.
Procaryote must process the data covered by this contract confidentially and can only disclose them to third parties if provided by our Privacy Policy, required by law, or authorized by you.
Procaryote implements security measures to protect the data against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction as described in the “Security Measures” document. Report any suspected security breach promptly to support@procaryote.com.
Sub-Processors
You authorize Procaryote to use third-party services to process the covered data. Sub-processors are selected for their adequate security measures. The list of sub-processors is described in the “Data Processors” document.
Data Retention
Procaryote will retain the data as long as necessary for the intended purposes. You can request the deletion of unnecessary data. Procaryote is not required to retain your data for more than 30 days after the end of your contract.
Communications
Emails sent to the primary contact address in your account are considered a valid means of communication regarding this contract.
Applicable Law and Disputes
This contract is governed by Belgian law. In case of a dispute not resolved amicably, the competent courts of Brussels will be seized.
Modification of this Document
This document is the latest version according to the version list below. We regularly review this document to ensure it is up to date and may modify it over time to reflect changes in our services and data processing activities. If we do so, we will post an update on this web page. Please check this document for any changes, as any revised version will apply upon publication by Procaryote.
