How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per leg

Tempo: slow

Description: Place one foot forward and the other back in a lunge position, keeping the torso upright and the pelvis stable. Slowly descend by bending both knees until the rear knee is close to the ground, then stabilize the position before rising back up. Ensure the front knee is aligned above the foot and the shoulders remain stable throughout the movement.

Tips: Keep your gaze straight ahead to maintain balance, contract your abdominal muscles to stabilize the trunk, and avoid letting the front knee go past the toes.

Progression: Gradually increase the depth of the lunge or add a slight load as the movement becomes easier.
