Posture Analysis turns photos into a structured postural assessment
Posture Analysis is a postural assessment app for physiotherapists, osteopaths and posturologists. Photograph the patient from the front, the back and both profiles: AI places 33 anatomical landmarks on each image, then the body-alignment engine measures the deviations and grades them against stated norms.

Photograph the patient with the camera or import from the photo library. Each view feeds the frontal or the sagittal analysis.
33 anatomical landmarks
AI detection places the landmarks on every photo. Nothing is uploaded: the model runs entirely on the device.
Annotated photos
Every view comes back with the detected skeleton, the plumb line and the horizontal girdle references, colour-coded by severity.
What is measured
Frontal plane
Head tilt, lateral head and trunk shift, shoulder and pelvic obliquity, frontal knee axis (valgus / varus).
Sagittal plane
Forward head posture, trunk inclination, trunk–thigh angle and sagittal knee axis (flexed / recurvatum).
Line of gravity
Deviation from the plumb line raised from the malleolus, at head, shoulder, hip and knee level.
A report you can read
Every measurement is compared against an explicit norm and graded normal, mild, moderate or marked. The app derives a clinical summary — scoliotic posture, upper crossed syndrome, pelvic obliquity, genu valgum or varum — and an overall postural index out of 100, useful for tracking progress across a course of treatment. The full report exports as text, ready to paste into a patient record.
Deviations in centimetres
Enter the patient's height and the angular deviations are converted into centimetres using standard anthropometric proportions. Without it, the angles remain fully usable on their own.
Frequently asked questions
How many photos does a postural assessment need?
Up to four: anterior, posterior, right profile and left profile. A single view already produces measurements; the four together give the complete assessment across both planes.
Does patient data leave the phone?
No. Posture Analysis makes no network calls: no account, no server, no remote processing. Photos stay in the device storage and landmark detection runs on-device. No data is collected.
How do I take a usable photo?
Whole body in frame, camera at mid-body height and perpendicular to the patient, even lighting, uncluttered background, close-fitting clothing. Keep the same distance and framing across all views so they stay comparable.
Is this a diagnosis?
No. The app reports postural attitudes and measured deviations, not diagnoses. It is an assessment support tool: photo-based measurements replace neither clinical examination nor imaging.
Which languages does the app support?
Nine: English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Greek, including the clinical vocabulary of the report.
