How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per leg

Description: Place one foot in front on an Airex cushion and the other foot behind, keeping the trunk upright. Slowly descend by flexing the front knee to about 90 degrees, maintaining pelvic stability and ensuring the knee is aligned with the foot. Return to the starting position by controlling the movement, extending the knee and hip.

Tips: Keep the trunk vertical and avoid letting the front knee pass the toes. Carefully control pelvic stability to dissociate the movement of the pelvic and scapular belts.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add slight resistance once motor control is mastered.
