Read Se, Sp and LR+/LR−

Each test is paired with sensitivity, specificity and likelihood ratios, plus a how-to sheet.

Calculate post-test probability

Enter the pre-test probability. The Bayes calculator gives the probability after the exam, adjustable with a slider.

how to calculate post-test probability after a clinical test

In Clinical Toolkit, open the test, enter the pre-test probability, then read the post-test probability. The calculation uses Bayes’ theorem from sensitivity and specificity (LR+ / LR−). A slider adjusts the pre-test value.

Lachman test sensitivity and specificity

Clinical Toolkit shows sensitivity, specificity and LR+/LR− for the Lachman test (and other knee tests: Anterior Drawer, McMurray, Thessaly, Ottawa Knee). Each test has a how-to sheet and an interpretation. It is not a diagnosis.

BODE index calculator COPD

The BODE calculator in Clinical Toolkit adds points for BMI, FEV1, mMRC dyspnoea and 6-minute walk distance. It returns a 0–10 index and a severity quartile. It is a prognostic score, not a substitute for clinical judgement.
