How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10 per leg

Description: Lie on your back with legs extended. The physiotherapist applies manual pressure against the thigh while you slowly lift the leg upward by flexing the hip, then gently lower it.

Tips: Keep your back flat against the floor and perform the movement slowly to feel the muscle work. Breathe regularly and avoid arching the lower back.

Progression: Gradually increase the manual resistance or the number of repetitions as the exercise becomes easier.
