How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10 per leg

Description: Place one foot forward in a lunge position, then slowly descend by bending both knees while ensuring the front knee remains aligned with the foot, without collapsing inward (valgus). Return to the starting position with controlled movement and repeat with the other leg.

Tips: Keep your torso upright and gaze forward. Contract the muscles around the knee to stabilize the joint and prevent the knee from collapsing inward.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add slight weight once control is mastered.
