How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10 per leg

Tempo: Slow descent

Pause: 2 seconds in the lowered position

Description: Place one foot forward and the other back in a lunge position, keeping the torso upright and the pelvis stable. Slowly descend by bending both knees until the rear knee is close to the ground, then hold the lowered position for 2 seconds before rising back up.

Tips: Ensure the front knee remains aligned above the foot to avoid unnecessary strain. Keep the torso upright and the pelvis stable throughout the movement to protect your back.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add light weights as the exercise becomes easier.
