How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10

Hold: 5 seconds

Description: In a standing or seated position, place your foot flat on the ground. Contract the foot muscles to draw the base of the toes toward the heel without lifting the toes, keeping the foot well flat. Maintain this contraction for 5 seconds before slowly releasing.

Tips: Keep the heel and toes in contact with the ground throughout the exercise. Do not let the arch of the foot collapse and avoid bending the toes.

Progression: Gradually increase the hold duration up to 10 seconds, then add slight resistance or perform the exercise standing on an unstable surface.
