How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10

Duration: Hold for 3 seconds at the top

Description: Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the ground. Engaging the abdominal muscles, slowly lift the pelvis by retroverting the pelvis to effectively activate the lumbar and gluteal muscles. Maintain the top position without arching the back, then gently lower down.

Tips: Keep the trunk stable and avoid excessive arching of the lower back. Control the movement during lifting and lowering to maximize strengthening.

Progression: Gradually increase the hold duration at the top from 3 to 5 seconds as the exercise becomes easier.
