Description: Place your forearm on a stable surface with your hand in a neutral position. Using the other hand or a small resistance device, apply gentle resistance while slowly extending your thumb, controlling the movement as you return to the starting position without moving the elbow or shoulder.

Tips: Keep the wrist and fingers immobile, focus on a slow and controlled thumb movement. Avoid compensating with the arm or shoulder.

Progression: Gradually increase resistance or the number of repetitions as the movement becomes easier.
