How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10 per leg

Description: Assume a forward lunge position with the front knee slightly bent and the back leg extended. Slowly straighten the front knee until the leg is nearly fully extended without locking the joint, keeping the pelvis stable and the trunk upright. Maintain proper alignment of the knee over the foot throughout the movement.

Tips: Keep your gaze straight ahead and avoid letting the front knee pass the toes. Perform the movement slowly to control the extension.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add a light weight as the movement becomes easier.
