How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 throws per side

Description: Place an Airex cushion on the floor and stand in a lateral lunge position on it, with the knee bent and stable. Throw a ball towards a partner or against a wall while maintaining balance on the cushion. Ensure the shoulder remains aligned, the scapula stabilized, and control the arm movement without shrugging the shoulder.

Tips: Keep the torso upright and contract the muscles around the knee to ensure stability. Control the arm movement by maintaining the alignment of the elbow and wrist. Breathe regularly and avoid leaning forward.

Progression: Gradually increase the throwing speed or the duration of holding the lunge on the cushion as the exercise becomes easier.
