How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10

Description: Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a barbell or dumbbells in front of you. Keep your legs almost straight, slightly bend your knees, then slowly lean forward keeping your back straight, lowering the weights along your legs until you feel a stretch at the back of your thighs. Then, rise back up by contracting the leg and glute muscles to return to the starting position.

Tips: Keep your back straight throughout the movement to avoid injury. Do not lock your knees; keep them slightly bent. Perform the movement slowly and control the descent.

Progression: Gradually increase the weight of the dumbbells or barbell as you can perform 3 sets of 10 repetitions without difficulty.
