How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per side

Description: Assume a standard push-up position, then as you lower yourself, open one hand towards the ceiling by rotating the thorax to stretch and mobilize the shoulder. Return to the initial position in a controlled manner and repeat on the other side.

Tips: Keep the body well aligned, avoid arching the back, and perform the movement slowly to feel the thoracic opening.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add a 2-second pause in the open position when the exercise becomes easy.
