How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Duration: hold for 10 seconds

Repetitions: 5 per set

Description: Sitting or standing, stabilize the foot in dorsiflexion position (foot raised towards the tibia) without moving, by contracting the anterior tibialis muscle. Maintain the contraction for 10 seconds, then gently release.

Tips: Keep the heel firmly on the ground and avoid compensating with other muscles. Control the foot's movement to target the muscle.

Progression: Gradually increase the contraction duration up to 15 seconds, then add light resistance with an elastic band when the exercise becomes easy.
