How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10

Description: In a standing or seated position, place your foot in a neutral stance on the ground. Slowly and controlled, spread your toes as wide as possible without lifting the heel or altering the foot alignment. Return to the starting position and repeat.

Tips: Keep the ankle relaxed and the foot flat to maximize activation of the intrinsic foot muscles. Perform the movement slowly to feel the muscle engagement.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add slight resistance with a band around the toes when the exercise becomes easy.
