How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Duration: 30 seconds on each side

Description: Lie on a log placed along your spine, arms extended in a cross position to stretch the pectoral muscles. Keep the pelvis stable and the spine in a neutral position throughout the exercise. Breathe deeply while maintaining maximum thoracic expansion without forcing or compensating with the pelvis.

Tips: Avoid excessive arching of the lower back and keep the shoulders relaxed. Adjust the arm opening according to your comfort to prevent any pain.

Progression: When the stretch becomes comfortable, gradually increase the duration up to 45 seconds per side.
