How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per side

Description: Place one leg forward and the other back in a lunge position, keeping the trunk upright. Slowly bend the front knee to about 90 degrees while maintaining a stable pelvis and ensuring the knee is aligned with the foot. Return to the initial position by extending the knee and hip, then repeat on the other side.

Tips: Keep the trunk vertical and avoid letting the knee go past the toes to protect the joint. Control the movement to prevent jerks.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add a slight load as the movement becomes easier.
