How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 12 per side

Description: Place an elastic band around your ankles while standing, feet hip-width apart. Keeping your pelvis stable and your torso upright, slowly abduct one leg to the side against the resistance of the band, then gently return to the starting position.

Tips: Ensure you do not lean the torso or tilt the pelvis during the movement. Control the lifting and lowering to maximize effectiveness.

Progression: Increase the resistance of the band or the number of repetitions when the exercise becomes too easy.
