How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per leg

Description: Stand on one leg with the knee slightly bent and the pelvis held horizontally. Slowly descend by bending the knee and pushing the pelvis backward, keeping the knee aligned with the foot and avoiding inward movement of the knee. Use a support to balance if necessary, then rise back up by pushing through the stance foot.

Tips: Keep the trunk slightly inclined forward to maintain balance and avoid knee valgus. Control the descent to effectively strengthen the knee.

Progression: When comfortable, reduce support or gradually increase the number of repetitions.
