How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Duration: 10-second hold

Repetitions: 5 per side

Description: Sit or lie down with your foot in a neutral position. Gently push the outer edge of your foot against a fixed resistance without moving the ankle, while contracting the evertor muscles. Hold the contraction for 10 seconds, then relax.

Tips: Keep the rest of your leg relaxed and avoid ankle movement during the effort. Breathe normally and control the force you apply.

Progression: Gradually increase the contraction duration to 15 seconds, then add light resistance with an elastic band when the exercise becomes easy.
