How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Description: In a seated or standing position, gently push the sole of the foot downward without moving the ankle, contracting the calf muscles. Maintain this contraction without movement for 10 seconds, then slowly release.

Tips: Keep the foot flat on the ground initially and avoid bending the knee or moving the leg. Focus on a controlled and steady contraction.

Progression: Gradually increase the contraction duration up to 15 seconds, then add repetitions as the exercise becomes easier.
