How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per leg

Description: Stand on one leg with your trunk leaning forward and the other leg extended backward. An external perturbation, such as a ball or light push, is applied to destabilize you. Your goal is to keep your pelvis and ankle well aligned despite this destabilization.

Tips: Focus on maintaining your balance by slightly contracting the core and ankle muscles. Keep your gaze fixed ahead to better control your posture.

Progression: Increase difficulty by receiving stronger perturbations or closing your eyes when comfortable.
