How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8

Tempo: Slow and controlled movement

Description: Sit upright, with the back slightly rounded or in a neutral position. Inhale while gently extending the upper back to open the thoracic cage, bringing the shoulder blades closer or lowering them, and if possible, raise the arms. Keep the chest open and the neck relaxed at the final position before slowly returning to the starting position.

Tips: Maintain a smooth and controlled movement to mobilize the thoracic region effectively without forcing. Breathe deeply to accompany the opening.

Progression: Gradually increase the duration of holding the final position up to 5 seconds as the movement becomes easier.
