How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 12

Description: Place your stable forearm on a surface, with the hand in a neutral position. Attach an elastic band around the fingers and perform a controlled extension of the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints by stretching the elastic, then slowly return to the starting position.

Tips: Keep the wrist stable and avoid compensating with the elbow or shoulder. Perform the movement slowly to effectively engage the extensor muscles.

Progression: Increase the resistance of the elastic or the number of repetitions as the exercise becomes easier.
