How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10

Pause: 2 seconds in maximum abduction position

Description: Place your forearm on a stable surface, with your hand in a neutral position. Slowly abduct your thumb outward against light resistance, hold the maximum position for 2 seconds without moving the wrist, then gently return to the starting position.

Tips: Keep the wrist and other fingers immobile to isolate thumb movement. Avoid compensating with the elbow or shoulder for targeted work.

Progression: Gradually increase resistance or the number of repetitions as the exercise becomes easier.
