How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 12

Description: Place your forearm on a stable surface, with your hand in a neutral position. Using the opposite hand, apply gentle resistance on the thumb while slowly extending it backward, then gently return to the starting position.

Tips: Keep the wrist and forearm immobile to isolate the thumb movement. Avoid compensating with the elbow or shoulder for targeted work.

Progression: Gradually increase the resistance applied by the opposite hand or use a resistance band when the exercise becomes easy.
