How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 12 per leg

Description: Sit on a chair, keep your back straight and your feet flat on the floor. Slowly lift one knee towards your chest by flexing the hip, without rounding your back or tilting your pelvis. Gently lower the leg back to the starting position and repeat with the other leg.

Tips: Maintain an upright posture throughout the exercise and avoid leaning forward. Control the movement to avoid using momentum.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add light resistance with a resistance band around the thighs when the exercise becomes easy.
