How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 10

Duration: Hold each contraction for 5 seconds

Description: Sitting or lying down, actively contract the quadriceps muscle by gently straightening the knee. Place your hands on the muscle to feel the contraction and ensure you maintain the tension for 5 seconds before gently releasing.

Tips: Focus on contracting the muscle without fully locking the knee joint. Use your hands to verify the muscle contracts properly and avoid forcing or compensating with other muscles.

Progression: Gradually increase the duration of the hold up to 10 seconds as the exercise becomes easier.
