Listen to the instructions

How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8

Description: Lie on your back with hips flexed at 90 degrees and legs supported by a partner or device. Slowly lower the leg while controlling the descent phase, resisting gravity through eccentric contraction of the hamstrings. The partner assists in lifting the leg back to the initial position without patient effort.

Tips: Control the descent carefully to maximize muscle work and avoid sudden movements. Keep your back flat and hips stable throughout the exercise.

Progression: Gradually increase the speed of descent while maintaining control, or add repetitions as the exercise becomes easier.
