How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 12 per leg

Description: Stand with feet hip-width apart. Slowly bend one knee, bringing the heel towards the buttocks, contracting the muscles at the back of the thigh. Gently lower the leg back to the starting position while controlling the movement.

Tips: Keep your back straight and avoid swinging the body to isolate the hamstrings. Perform the movement slowly to maximize effectiveness and prevent injuries.

Progression: Gradually increase the number of repetitions or add ankle weights when the exercise becomes too easy.
