How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per side

Hold: 5 seconds

Description: Sit with your head stable and mouth slightly open, with the mandible centered without clenching the teeth. Slowly move the jaw to one side, applying gentle pressure with a finger if needed, then return to the center before repeating on the other side. Hold the maximum lateral position for 5 seconds before returning to the center.

Tips: Keep the head immobile and avoid moving the jaw forward or backward; focus solely on lateral movement. Breathe calmly and control the movement to avoid excessive tension.

Progression: Gradually increase the hold duration up to 10 seconds as the exercise becomes easier.
