How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 on each side

Description: Sit with your head stable and mouth slightly open, mandible centered and teeth not clenched. Slowly move the jaw sideways without moving forward or backward, then return to the center before repeating on the other side. Apply gentle pressure with a finger on the chin to provide controlled resistance.

Tips: Keep the head still and focus on a slow, controlled lateral movement. Do not force and avoid clenching the teeth.

Progression: Gradually increase resistance by pressing a little harder with the finger as the movement becomes easier.
