Listen to the instructions

How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8

Description: Sit with your head held upright and gaze forward. Begin with your mouth closed, jaw relaxed, then slowly open your mouth while controlling the movement to prevent any lateral deviation. A therapist or yourself applies gentle resistance with your fingers under the chin to strengthen the muscles, then gently close the mouth while keeping the jaw centered.

Tips: Keep the tongue positioned as instructed and avoid forcing the opening. Carefully control the jaw's trajectory to prevent imbalance.

Progression: Gradually increase manual resistance or the number of repetitions as the exercise becomes easier.
