How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per leg

Description: Place one foot on a step or platform with the knee flexed. Slowly descend while controlling the movement until the foot touches the ground, then rise back up while maintaining control. Ensure the pelvis remains stable and the knee stays aligned with the foot throughout the exercise.

Tips: Focus on contracting the quadriceps during both ascent and descent. Avoid letting the knee drift inward or outward. Keep the back straight and avoid sudden movements.

Progression: Gradually increase the height of the step or add light resistance as the exercise becomes easier.
