How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8

Description: Stand upright, then jump lightly forward or in place. During the jump, the physiotherapist gently destabilizes you using a SwissBall to challenge your knee motor control. Land softly, keeping the knee stable and controlled.

Tips: Keep your gaze straight ahead, slightly bend your knees upon landing to absorb the shock, and contract the muscles around the knee to maintain stability. Breathe calmly and focus on balance.

Progression: Gradually increase the height or distance of the jump, or the force of destabilization by the physiotherapist as you feel comfortable.
