How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Reps: 8

Tempo: Slow descent over 4 seconds

Description: Stand or sit with your arm raised in front of you at shoulder height, holding a resistance band. Slowly and controllably lower your arm downwards, keeping your elbow slightly bent, resisting the band to strengthen the shoulder extensor muscles.

Tips: Keep your back straight and avoid jerky movements. Control the descent well to maximize eccentric work.

Progression: When the exercise becomes easy, increase the resistance of the elastic band or extend the descent duration to 5 seconds.
