How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Duration: 30 seconds per arm

Description: In a standing or seated position, the physiotherapist applies gentle unstable pressures on the arm to destabilize the shoulder. The patient must keep the arm stable and control its movements despite these perturbations.

Tips: Keep your back straight and shoulder muscles engaged. Focus on the sensation of stability and respond gently to destabilizations.

Progression: Gradually increase the duration of sets or the force of destabilizations as control improves.
