How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 per side

Starting position: Seated, head stable, mouth slightly open, mandible centered without clenching teeth.

Description: Slowly move your jaw to the right without moving forward or backward, then return to the center. Repeat the movement to the left. If you feel resistance, apply gentle pressure with a finger on the side of the chin to assist the movement.

Tips: Keep the head still and focus on a controlled lateral movement. Do not force and respect your comfortable range of motion.

Progression: Gradually increase mobility by trying to go a little further without pain, or increase the number of repetitions per set.
