How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8

Description: Sit with your head held upright and gaze directed forward. Place your fingers on your chin and slowly open your mouth, ensuring that the jaw remains centered without lateral deviation. Gently assist or resist the movement with your fingers if needed, then close your mouth slowly while maintaining control of the mandibular axis.

Tips: Keep your tongue in the position indicated by your therapist and avoid sudden movements. Focus on slow, controlled movements to enhance motor control.

Progression: Gradually increase the opening range or the duration of keeping the mouth open as the movement becomes easier.
