How to do the exercise

Sets: 3

Repetitions: 8 on each side

Description: Sit with your head stable and your mouth slightly open. Place your tongue against the palate, then slowly move the jaw to the right without advancing or receding, return to the center, then repeat to the left. If you feel resistance, apply gentle pressure with a finger on the side of the chin to assist the movement.

Tips: Keep the mandible centered at the start and avoid clenching your teeth. Perform the movement slowly and control the lateral trajectory.

Progression: Gradually increase mobility by slightly enlarging the lateral movement amplitude as the movement becomes easier.
